The post process material included is a dithered low resolution color depth limiter that gives you the classic old school retro look.

Materials also help with this as they all have a vertex snapping feature that emulates the limited vertex precision of the Retro Consoles.

Assets are modelled in a way to support vertex lighting systems such as the one in 'Retro Graphics Unreal Pack' by Marcis. 'Retro Graphics' isn't needed but compliments this pack very well.

The models also look great with the standard per pixel lighting system in Unreal as you can see from the screenshots. Or even baked lighting.

Features:

3 Cars, 2 Trucks
6 Color variations per vehicle (except trucks)
5 Wheel types
Exhaust smoke particle
Headlights with fog beams and lens flares
Asset Zoo and Test Maps

NOTES:

The Chaos Vehicle Plugin must be enabled or else cars will not be drivable in versions 5.0 onwards.
Make sure your screen percentage is set to 100% in viewport settings for the dithering effect to work properly. In UE5 change the default screen percentage mode for realtime editor viewports to 'manual', then Manual screen percentage as 100 in the Project settings.
The test map allows you to drive each car. It's based on the Unreal Vehicle template with a lot of added features including: Steering wheel, Entering and Exiting Car, Lights, Wipers, Exhaust particles.
